What type of milk works best?
The MS-130T works with all kinds of milk, but fresh whole milk or professional barista milk alternatives tend to produce the best texture and foam.
What type of water should I use?
We recommend using filtered water. Hard water can cause limescale build-up, which affects performance and requires more frequent descaling. If you’re unsure, check your local water hardness levels.
How do I clean the steamer?
After every use, purge the steam wand and wipe it with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use the automatic cleaning cycle and follow the instructions in the manual.
Do I need to descale the machine?
Yes. Regular descaling helps maintain performance and prolongs the life of your steamer. If you live in an area with hard water or use the machine frequently, you may need to descale more often.
The steam pressure feels weak – what should I do?
First, check if the steam wand is blocked and run the cleaning cycle. If the problem persists, descale the machine.
Can I use a water filter with the MS-130T?
The machine does not have a built-in filter slot. Only drop-in filter tablets designed for water tanks (such as BRITA AquaGusto) can be used. Please note that even with a filter, the machine still needs to be descaled regularly, especially in hard water areas.
